Fast & Easy Pizza Pitas
A quick and easy family favorite.

Ingredients:

6 small mushrooms
1/2 cup Healthy Choice spaghetti sauce
1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
2 pitas (cut in half lengthwise)
1 green pepper (thinly sliced)
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, (freshly grated)

Directions:

Sauté onion, pepper, and mushrooms in a skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. If desired, add ¼ teaspoon garlic. When vegetables are tender, remove from heat. Spread enough spaghetti sauce on pita to cover. Over the sauce spread vegetables and top with Parmesan cheese. Place the pizzas on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

For variety: top with cooked shrimp, chicken or ground turkey. You may also add fat-free mozzarella cheese.
